While driving down the interstate, the vehicle shut off completely without warning. I had to put it in park and quickly turn it back on. It drove for a few hundred miles and did it again. Then, at miles 9769 and 9980 it did it again.

2024-08-01Equipment, seats, structure24V416000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Ram Promaster vehicles. The vehicles are missing a side door beam, and the tire placard contains incorrect seating capacity information.
Remedy: Dealers will install a door beam and apply an overlay label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 1, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 53B.

2025-06-12Back over prevention25V330000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Ram ProMaster vehicles. A software error in the security gateway module may cause the rearview camera image not to display.
Remedy: Dealers will update the security gateway module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 40C.

2025-10-30Electrical system25V665000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ram ProMaster battery electric (BEV) vehicles. The electric drive module software may not effectively manage torque, which can result in a loss of drive power.
Remedy: Dealers will update the software for the motor control processor, battery processor control module, integrated dual charge module, and electric vehicle control unit.

2025-12-11Engine and engine cooling25V720000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The electrical circuit for the radiator fan may overheat.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the cooling fan module and fuse. In addition dealers will provide an addendum for the manual and label for the power distribution center.

Remedy: Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.

Date not on fileSteering26V621000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Ram 1500 Promaster, Ram 2500 Promaster, Ram 3500 Promaster, and 2024-2026 Ram 3500 Electric (EV) vehicles.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring harness and electronic power steering gear, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed November 17, 2026.
