TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 MERCEDES-BENZ E350. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V017000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER FAILED TO PROVIDE THE PART WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME.

I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM MERCEDES IN MARCH 2017 THAT MY VEHICLE NEEDS TO HAVE IT'S AIR BAG REPLACED. MY DEALER IN MERCEDES DEALER IN CALABASAS HAS HAD NO APPROVAL OR INSTRUCTIONS TO REPLACE THE BAG AT THAT TIME AND IS NOT REPLACING MY AIRBAG.
