It all started with a cylinder 3 misfire warning code, spark plugs replaced, coils replaced. Then a coolant leak. No obvious signs of a leak no cracked tubing no puddles. Just coolant leaking.

My backup camera often freezes after I shift from reverse to drive. The screen turns blue and at time will have a live video of me driving showing whatâs behind my car. Also my engine loses power and doesnât accelerate as it should.

Known Coolant intrusion issue came up with the 2.0 Ecoboost. Began to lag on takeoff causing unsafe acceleration profiles. Took to dealership who confirmed poor design was the root cause.

2025-05-15Electrical system23V440000 Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Fusion PHEV vehicles. The battery energy control module (BECM) may become damaged due to excessive voltage and current flow.
Remedy: Owners are advised not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will replace the battery and update the BECM software for free, or Ford will repurchase the vehicle.
