Smelled smoke, then a small amount of dark smoke was noted to be coming from A/C vents I pulled over & turned off car The smoke stopped. I exited the car & called my husband. I opened the car hood to inspect. There was nothing suspicious.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD EXPEDITION. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE GEAR SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL AND THE VEHICLE REVERSED OUT OF THE PARKING LOT AND DOWN A HILL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP ONCE IT STRUCK A BUILDING.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The front blower motor located behind the glove box may fail.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the front blower motor assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2023. Remedy parts are expected to become available in the second quarter of 2023.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 16, 2025. Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S42.
