While driving my car on street I was struck on the passenger side in a intersection when a chevy maxi van struct me when running a red light. My airbag did not deploy and my vehicle was totalled.

My vehicle had 32,000 miles on it when I bought it. It seemed that the steering had a good amount of play in it for only being a year old. My girlfriend was driving my car and hit a parked car. She was not injured.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. While driving 55 MPH a deer crossing the road caused the contact to lose control of the steering as she avoided hitting the deer. Also, the brakes failed and she was unable to stop the vehicle.

    2014-09-08Electrical system14V400000 This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key.

    Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will install two key rings and an insert in the key slot or a cover over the key head on all ignition keys, free of charge. The recall began on September 9, 2014. GM's number for this recall is 14350.
