TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 MAZDA B3000. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH THE CONTACT NOTICED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL FELT LOOSE. AFTER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS ENGAGED WITH FORCE THERE WAS A POPPING SOUND AND THE PEDAL BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY.

DISCOVERED THE RIGHT REAR SPRING HANGER HAD RUSTED OFF THE FRAME OF THE TRUCK. FURTHER INSPECTION HAS FOUND THE FRAME IS SO BADLY RUSTED THAT REPAIR OF THE SPRING HANGER IS NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE FRAME.
