I leased a 2015 chevy Volt, I used the supplied charging station to charge the vehicle. This device overheated earlier in the day, I decided to unplug it and try another outlet. I checked on it 20 minutes later and discovered it was still warm.

On May 13TH, approx. 11:10AM, clear and sunny 75F redondo beach, ca. I entered the Volt to back out down a downward sloping driveway. I powered my Volt up with foot on brake proceeded to shift the Volt in 'r'.

We bought a used certified California lemon from a chevy dealer in Wisconsin 2 years ago. They claimed the car came from California and result of its 3 strike lemon law. They claimed the brake system had been totally replaced.

    2015-07-28Steering15V442000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Chevrolet Cruze vehicles manufactured November 8, 2013, to March 12, 2015, and 2015 Chevrolet Volt vehicles manufactured April 11, 2014.

    Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the steering gear assembly, free of charge. The recall began on July 28, 2015. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 15386.
