I was driving down the XXX Expressway Sunday, XXX, with my children in my vehicle. This is a very heavily traveled highway in [XXX] with heavy traffic.

The infotainment/control module in my 2024 Silverado 3500HD failed unexpectedly while I was traveling cross-country. The module is available for inspection upon request. Prior to the failure, I did not receive any warning lamps or messages.

Trailer Brake controller DIC shows "check trailer wiring" and Brakes are not functioning. Intermittent issue but mostly no brakes. Lights all work fine. New RV bought in [XXX] testing brakes and DIC indicated issue.

moved the truck on to the lawn and put it in park turned truck off. got out of the truck and went into the garage and 5 min later came out and saw the truck started to roll and went 50 ft and hit a tree.

2023-09-22Steering23V549000 General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, and GMC Sierra 2500, 3500 vehicles. The steering gear shaft may fracture and disconnect from the steering arm.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gear, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 22, 2023. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782.

2024-05-17Latches/locks/linkages24V060000 General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 vehicles equipped with power-unlatching tailgates.
Remedy: Owners are advised to check that the tailgate is closed and latched before driving. Dealers will replace the exterior touchpad switch assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024.
