Consumer writes regarding Takata airbag safety recall. *ld the consumer stated the vehicle was involved in a crash. The airbags did not deploy. The consumer was injured and the husband passed away.

Dash readout: engine power reduced, vehicle went dead. This has happened at least 15 times in the last 30 days. Usually while driving down the road but will also do this parked and idle. Vehicle loses steering capabilities and comes to a stop.
