Consumer states that while driving at 70 MPH, the driver's side rear tire blewout. The outer belt came loose from the tire and did extensive damage to rear side panel and small damage to back tail gate.

Several of my exhaust manifold bolt heads broke off even though they have never been removed causing hot exhaust to leak out igniting some electrical wiring. My mechanic told me this is a very common problem with GM V8's.

Remedy: Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. The recall began on October 18, 2006. Owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (Option 1).
