Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. After starting the vehicle and turning on the stereo, an audible, popping noise and burning odor were present inside the vehicle. The cause of the failures was not determined.

The radio makes a loud pop & makes me jump as it goes on & off whenever it wants to.

About 80% of the time I stop, I put the car into 'park" and attempt to remove the key, it is stuck. The solenoid in the steering column will not release the key although it is in position 2.

Our 2014 chevy Camaro ss power steering would lock up on us when we were driving and would jerk and we wouldn't be able to steer the car and it was very scary especially when you were going the speed limit on the interstate going 65-70 MPH.

Trying to park at low speed there is a rubbing sound of plastic and light metal.there was fluid on top of the reservoir! Dealer cleaned it twice and it comes back.they claim the rubbing and scraping metal behind the air bag is fine.

2014-06-27Steering14V409000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014 Buick Regal, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Impala vehicles.
Remedy: GM began to notify owners on June 27, 2014, and dealers will inspect the fasteners for correct torque, correcting them as necessary, free of charge.

2014-08-25Electrical system14V346000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling all 2010-2014 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles manufactured December 3, 2008 to May 23, 2014.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will remove the key blade from the original flip key/RKE transmitter assemblies, and provide two new keys and two key rings per key. The recall began August 25, 2014.

2020-02-04Electrical system19E064000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain replacement flip-key ignition transmitter assemblies sold as replacement equipment for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the key with the flat blade design, free of charge. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed November 6, 2019.
