I needed to make a left hand turn from a street into a complex, was still moving at approximately 25MPH and when I went to apply the brakes, the vehicle was not slowing or stopping.

My car is stalling upon starting intermittently for the last 2 months. I have read several places about people having an issue of having cars of this year stalling while driving which is extremely dangerous.

My daughter was rear-ended in her 2017 Jetta while stopped. The other driver was going approximately 45 mph, forcing my daughter into the car in front of her as well, causing significant front impact and damage to the vehicle.

2020-10-30Service brakes, hydraulic20E064000 Tenneco Automotive (Tenneco) is recalling certain Beck/Arnley Master Cylinders, part number 072-9831, sold as aftermarket or replacement parts for 2004-2018 Volkswagen Jetta, and 2012-2019 Volkswagen Beetle vehicles.
Remedy: Beck/Arnley will notify the distributors that sold the master cylinders and will work with the distributors to notify the end users. Affected master cylinders will be exchanged for a new master cylinder (part number 072-9990), free of charge.
