A PEDESTRIAN INFORMED CONSUMER THAT VEHICLE WAS ON FIRE. VEHICLE WAS PUSHED FROM UNDER A CAR PORT ONTO THE STREET, AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. FIRE STARTED FROM WITHIN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND BENEATH THE DASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE HOOD LATCH AND SECURING BOLTS AND REPLACE THEM IF NECESSARY.
