' "Takata recall" I lost control my vehicle while I was driving at athens dr and hit the vehicle in front , I had big damage to my vehicle it was due to improper fuel pump control module.

At 8:40 am cst on 11/6/2012. While commuting to work at 55 MPH road in the middle of freeway. I lost functionality on the gas pedal. The vehicle would not accelerate when engaging the gas pedal.

    Remedy: Volkswagen will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator with an alternative inflator, free of charge. The recall began March 16, 2018. Owners may contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298.
