My entire dashboard caught fire due to my a/c controls going out. My a/c dial started smoking before it finally caught fire. My dashboard is now melted where the a/c controls belong.

My vw Beetle is a 2008. I just had the 6TH light replaced on 03/23/12. Took the car to be inspected and replaced the 7TH light on 03/26/12!! I am not sure of the actual date of the first blown light.
