Transmission jerks when decelerating to a stop. Itâs as if it drops to the wrong gear and then tries to correct. Does this every time. Causes the truck to lurch and jerk.

2024 Nissan Titan PRO-4X with less than 1,000 miles. When braking to make a complete stop the 9 speed transmission surges and the truck uncontrollably lurches forward almost causing rear end crash into another vehicle.

When coming to a stop(rolling stop) the truck will jerk ROUGH. Which causes the truck to lunge forward. Multiple times have I almost hit the car in front of me causing an accident. Took vehicle to Nissan 2 times. First time I was informed.

SAFETY TIMELINE
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Titan, Frontier, Infiniti QX60, Pathfinder, 2023-2024 Sentra, Versa, Kicks, Infiniti QX50, and 2023 Rogue vehicles.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front driver's air bag assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669.
Campaign 24V154000 — check if this car was fixed
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021 and 2024 Titan vehicles. The Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) may be missing a spacer, which can allow the fastener to loosen and result in an unsecured ACU.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the ACU, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PD120.
