Tl* the contact owns a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. While pulling up to a traffic light, the vehicle accelerated forcefully. The brake pedal was depressed multiple times, but the vehicle accelerated and tapped the preceding vehicle.

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis. The contact stated that the vehicle was started and as she lightly depressed the accelerator pedal, the vehicle rapidly accelerated and crashed into a wall from the front passenger's side.

    2006-11-22Visibility06V440000 Certain passenger vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 212, 'windshield mounting.' the windshield may not be properly secured to the vehicle body.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the windshield free of charge. The recall began on November 22, 2006. Owners may contact Ford at 1-800-392-3673.
