TL* - THE CONTACTED CALLED REGARDING THE 2007 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL. THE DRIVER WAS ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE VEHICLE WHEN IT ACCELERATED FORWARD , STRIKING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF THEM. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE FRONT BUMPER OF THE VEHICLE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT BOTH FRONT WHEEL BEARING AND HUB ASSEMBLIES AND REPLACE THEM FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 22, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FORD AT 1-800-392-3673.
