2009 FX35 INFINITI MORE THAN 80% OF THE TIME I EXPERIENCE ELECTRICAL SHOCKS AFTER EXITING MY CAR TOUCHING THE DOOR TO CLOSE IT. I CONTACTED AN INFINITI TO INVESTIGATE AND WAS TOLD THEY FOUND GROUNDS O.K.

MY CAR STARTED RATHER VIOLENTLY LURCHING WHEN I ACCELERATED. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY AN APPARENT ELECTRONICS FAILURE IN THE CAR. THE SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING. TURN SIGNALS STOPPED WORKING. BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON BY ITSELF. AIR CONDITIONING WENT OFF.

Nissan North America, Inc.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the steering shaft on the Infiniti EX35, FX35, and FX45 vehicles, and will replace the steering column assembly on the Nissan GT-R vehicles, free of charge. The recall began on March 9, 2015.
