Car was traveling at approx. 18 MPH. I applied brakes to make a left turn. When I pressed on the brakes, the car accelerated, and the brakes began stiff and would not stop the car.

Drivers side air bag deployed but was so small drivers head struck roof of car causing neck and back injuries and never made any contact with airbag. Drivers forward motion in accident was stopped by hitting head on roof.
