Truck has a CP4 injection pump and they go bad and cost $15,000-$20,000 to repair and if that happens I owe money on the truck and would have to get a loan or figure something out and still have to make a payment on something I canât even drive!

While driving on dry pavement, driver moved knob on vehicle to switch from awd to 2WD. Vehicle went into an immediate spin which could not be corrected. (Or maybe it was because of what happened next).

Shifting started to make a loud clunking sound. Then the vehicle wouldn't shift out of 3rd gear. The engine check light came on and the code determined it to be a faulty transmission control module (TCM).

2022-05-05Air bags21V504000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the left and right side RRAB modules, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on August 18, 2021. Owners will receive a second notice when the remedy is available.
