GMC ISSUED A RECALL ON THE 1996 GMC ENVOY DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR CONSOLE WHICH OPERATES THE LOCKS AND WINDOWS WHICH CAN BURN OUT OR CAUSE FIRE. MY ENVOY DID THE SAME THING, SO OF COURSE I HAD TO HAVE IT REPLACED.
