My 2010 Ford Taurus sho developed a dangerous problem with loss of power steering. The steering intermittently goes into manual mode with no power steering when there is a power steering fault.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 Ford Taurus. While driving approximately 10 MPH, the brake was engaged and there was an unexpected acceleration. The contact applied the brake pedal repeatedly and the vehicle came to a stop.

    Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the license plate lamp assemblies, free of charge. The recall began on July 26, 2014. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-800-392-3673. Ford's number for this recall is 14S08.
