THE DRIVER-SIDE ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT FIRED WITHOUT PROVOCATION WHILE THE CAR WAS PARKED. IT HIT MY WIFE IN THE HEAD. THE PLASTIC PARTS INSIDE THE HEAD REST ARE BROKEN AND CHALKY, LIKE PLASTIC LEFT TO SIT IN THE SUN TOO LONG.

Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the vent window switch with a newer version, free of charge. The owner notification letter was issued and the remedy campaign launched on on December 31, 2014.
