Tl*the contact owns a 1990 Chrysler grand voyager (Na). While driving 65 MPH, the contact heard a bumping noise and then the vehicle stopped. He stated that the axle was in a "V" Shape under the vehicle and was not completely rusted.

    1991-05-29Seat belts91V053000 Inboard front seat belt buckle assembly straps can suffer fatigue failure of the strap near its anchor position.

    Remedy: Replace fatigued straps or retrofit straps with a reinforcement plate and removal of an antirotation tab to prevent fatigue failure.
