I was at a friends for several hours proceeding incident. I drove my 1999 chevy Monte Carlo Z34 about 1 mile from my friends to taco bell. The car had been running great. I went inside to order I was in their 10-15 minutes.

Tl* the contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The contact stated that there was a leak coming from under the hood that was getting progressively worst. The leak would create a puddle on the floor.

Tl* the contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal odor coming into the vehicle. In addition, the contact noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment.

    Remedy: The remedy applied under recalls 08V-118, 09V-116, and 15V-201 did not adequately remove the safety risk. Under the improved remedy, dealers will replace the engine’s front valve cover and gasket.
