I HAVE A 2010 CTS CADILLAC; I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT ON 9/3/2013 IN WHICH I WAS T-BONE BY SOME RUNNING A RED LIGHT MY AIRBAGS DID OT DEPLOY, I HAVE INJURIES FROM THAT ACCIDENT THAT I AM STILL DEALING WITH.

Passenger presence module malfunction is intermittent. When the malfunction occurs there is a warning light plus "Service Airbag" on the instrument panel. Sometimes the light and warning go off after several minutes, sometimes stays on for days.

CADILLAC SENT ME A LETTER DATED JUNE 2014 WITH MY VEHICLE'S VIN ON IT INDICATING THAT "THE SUPERCHARGER MAY DEVELOP A NOTICEABLE RATTLE NOISE AT IDLE. THE NOISE WILL TYPICALLY GO AWAY WHEN THE ENGINE RPM IS RAISED SLIGHTLY ABOVE IDLE.

This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key.

Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will install two key rings and an insert in the key slot or a cover over the key head on all ignition keys, free of charge. The recall began on September 15, 2014.
