Make: Buick model: Park Avenue year: 1995 at start up, there was an explosion. Vehicle caught on fire. If this car was parked next to a home or in a garage this would have drastic consequences.

The gear shifter does not shift in to the correct selected gears. The prefabrication was not done correctly on the bottom rocker panels, that caused them to rust prematurely. The paint is just peeling off the top and the hood of the car.

We purchased this vehicle in February of 2012. The body, interior, electrical systems, engine and transmission are in very good condition. The car was sold in great condition and I was told of no major mechanical issues.

    1995-08-07Exterior lighting95V158000 The driver side headlamp lens has an incorrect aim pad number on the lens. This does not comply with FMVSS No. 108, "Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver side headlamp on vehicles with the correct outboard lower pad number.
