FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY 5PX-24560-00 HAD AN INCORRECT TOLERANCE FIT AND BEGAN LEAKING FUEL ON TO THE ENGINE. LUCKILY THE UNIT STAYED TOGETHER WHILE THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TRAVELING.

SAFETY TIMELINE

R 20070302 — engine and engine cooling

ON CERTAIN ROAD STAR WARRIOR MOTORCYCLES, THE LEAD WIRES FOR THE PICK-UP COIL CAN BREAK WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STALL AND BE IMPOSSIBLE TO RESTART.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE PICK-UP COIL. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 2, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT YAMAHA AT 1-800-227-5963.
