While parking my vehicle in the garage, I pressed the P (park) button on my center console and proceeded to exit my vehicle. As I was exiting, the car began to roll backwards.

While driving 45-50 miles per hour on a large main street in orange county with a car 6-7 car lengths ahead and the Volvo XC90 automatically forced the vehicle to stop on a dime for no apparent reason.

Vehicle was stopped at a stop light with brake pedal pressed. Car started rolling with brake pedal pushed and repeatedly pushing the brake pedal did nothing! Car jerked three times and responded to pressing the park button.

2024-01-19Seat belts23V827000 Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2015-2024 XC90 vehicles. The second-row seat belt buckle and lower belt anchor bolts may not be tightened properly.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the second-row seat belt buckle anchorage bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 19, 2024. Owners may contact Volvo Car customer service at 1-800-458-1552.
