2023-03-31Wheels23V173000 Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024 VNR, VNL, and VHD vehicles. The hub covers do not properly fit on the hub and can detach from the vehicle.
Remedy: Dealers will remove the hub covers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 31, 2023. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2302.

2023-07-31Air bags, electrical system23V403000 Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Truck) is recalling certain 2022-2024 VNL and VHD vehicles equipped with RollTek driver seats. A missing circuit will prevent the side air bag from deploying during a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will connect a jumper harness between the seat and main cab harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 4, 2023. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 1-800-528-6586.

2024-02-02Steering23V886000 Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling one 2024 VNL truck. The bearing journals may not be fully seated in the steering knuckle assembly, preventing the proper installation of the wheel end hub assembly.
Remedy: Hendrickson will inspect and replace the steering knuckle assembly as necessary, free of charge. The owner notification letter was mailed February 2, 2024. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks customer service at 1-800-528-6586.

2024-03-05Steering24V121000 Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024-2025 VNL and VNR vehicles. The steering gear sector shaft may have been improperly heat-treated, which can cause the gear teeth to crack or fracture.
