I was in B mode, slowed down to prepare to put the car in reverse to put my car in the driveway when the car surged forward unexpectedly and went up on a neighbor's curb, over their sewer cleanout pipe and tapped their car before the car stopped.

Remedy: The software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2025. Owners may contact Volvo Car customer service at 1-800-458-1552.
