On 11/29/23 after 11:30pm, I was in the process of clearing an exit and at the tail end of the exit it felt like the car was "correcting" itself and I was unable to stay turning right.

My daughter was on the interstate using cruise control; wet roads but no heavy rain or puddling. The LTA pulled her car off the road, She had to fight to get control of the car to prevent hitting the middle concrete barrier.

The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while idling at a stop, the vehicle was rear-ended. During the crash, the driver's seat unexpectedly reclined backwards, and the air bags failed to deploy.

I was involved in a vehicle accident Mar. 31, 2026. And only the side curtain air bags deployed. Neither driverside steering wheel airbag (which caused me to fracture my sternum) nor the passanger side airbag deployed.

The driver’s side A pillar that houses the airbag is not flush with the headliner. There is a gap in the upper section of the A pillar. This gap causes a distraction while driving because the gap is directly in front of the driver’s view.

    2025-01-17Steering24V878000 Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Corolla and Corolla Hybrid vehicles.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the intermediate steering shaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 17, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is 24TB13/24TA13.
