TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 SUZUKI GSX-R750. WHILE RIDING AT 65 MPH, SMOKE APPEARED FROM THE MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED OIL LEAKING FROM THE ENGINE ONTO THE REAR TIRE.

R 20141017 — power train

Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2011-2014 GSX-R750 and 2009-2014 GSX-R1000 motorcycles.

Remedy: Suzuki will notify owners, and dealers will replace the left-side chain adjuster with an improved part. The recall began on October 17, 2014. Owners may contact Suzuki customer service at 1-714-572-1490.
