I was driving down highway behind a slow truck. Went to pass and accelerated to 50 MPH when engine became abnormally loud and felt as though someone had taken over the car and it wanted to race. Rpms were maxed.

While driving on the freeway the car stalled and then proceeded with about half power. A visit to the dealer has diagnosed an issue with the first cylinder. Valve springs, etc. They have denied warranty coverage.....

    Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the seat rail, and replace it with a new one, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began on July 3, 2014. Owners may contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331.
