Dt: consumer states: the car smells like sulfur dioxide coming in the car through vents and comes catalytic converter. Dealer tried to fixed it. Thought it was originally from buses in the city.

Dt: while driving at 60 MPH the car decreased in speed to about 20 MPH. Called the dealer, and dealer urged consumer to turn the car off and restart it. Did that, but all indicator lights stayed on. The car drove normal from that point.

Driving home and hit another vehicle that was stopped. I was going approx. 40-45 MPH. At the time of the accident. I rear ended a older Cadillac, in my Scion xA, the air bags never went off!!

Remedy: The vehicle manufacturers will notify their owners and replace the cruise control free of charge. Rostra will notify purchasers of the atermarket cruise controls and replace the units free of charge.

2018-12-21Air bags18V776000 Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2004-2006 Toyota Scion xA vehicles.
Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the SRS ECU, and if necessary, replace the air bag control module, free of charge. The recall began December 21, 2018. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371.
