On December 24, 2023, my family and I were involved in a serious accident while driving our 2023 Porsche Taycan.

The car is an electric car. I was driving on the highway and the car shut down completely leaving me without power steering, engine control error, electrical system error. I had to glide to the shoulder of the highway.

There is a red ring that comes up on left side of dashboard that has text inside it that says "Keep hands on steering wheel." It removes acceleration of the car and stiffens the steering wheel until you jerk the wheel and get it to turn off.
