Vehicle keeps running out of gas, but the dash states there is a certain amount of gas before empty. Vehicle cutting off on express way is not safe. Recently found out that Nissan has a service bulletin about this issue.

GASOLINE WAS DISCOVERED DRIPPING FROM THE UNDERSIDE OF THE MINI CARGO VAN WHILE BOTH PARKED AND IN MOTION. FURTHER VISUAL INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE HOSE BETWEEN THE FUEL DOOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND THE GASOLINE TANK WAS LEAKING.

The passenger side airbag deployed when I shut the door. My son was sitting in the seat. This incident could have been very harmful to my son. We had just had the airbag sensor repaired after waiting 6 months for it to arrive on back order.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the production information on the ignition switch, and replace it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began October 1, 2018. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669.

Desiccated Air Bag Inflator Rupture
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2013-2021 NV200 Van, 2014-2017, 2019 NV200 Taxi, and 2015-2018 Chevrolet City Express vehicles.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and reroute the FTT sensor harness or replace the fuel pump assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261.
