I was stopped at a red light behind a line of cars. A toyota tundra going 45-60 mph rear ended me. This sent me into the car ahead of me and sandwiched me in between the two. It destroyed the front and back of my vehicle.

A backseat spill caused the fuel pump control module to completely fail. While driving at approximately 40 MPH on a frontage road, the Mini jerked started shaking and came to a complete stop. A "Drivetrain malfunction" Warning came up.

2018-09-06Engine and engine cooling18V465000 BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2018 BMW 540d xDrive vehicles.
Remedy: BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the crankshaft sensor, free of charge. The recall began September 6, 2018. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

2018-10-22Fuel system, gasoline18V557000 BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2017-2019 MINI Cooper Countryman vehicles. These vehicles may be missing a crash protection plate near the high pressure fuel pump, which may result in a fuel leak in the event of a crash.
Remedy: MINI will notify owners, and dealers will install a crash protection plate, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on October 22, 2018. Owners will receive a second notification when the repair is available.
