My kids and I went into a football game and when we came out I used the key fob to unlock the doors but the vehicle didn’t recognize my key fob when I tried to start it. There were no lights or warnings leading up to this incident.

Parked on a 45 degree slope. Placed the vehicle in neutral with the right foot on the brake pedal. Set the emergency brake down as far as the pedal would travel. Released the brake pedal with the emergency brake fully engaged.
