TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 MAZDA MAZDA6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE DRIVER SWERVED TO AVOID ANOTHER VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE DIVIDER. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.

I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AT 733AM AND MY BRAKES LOCKED FRONT WHEEL SLID CARD DID NOT STOP AND HIT FRONT VEHICLE AND AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND CAUSE ME AN ACCIDENT WHICH CAR WAS COMPLETELY A LOSS AND IM STILL SCARE THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT WORK.

Remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy is performed. Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator with an alternate inflator, free of charge.
