MAZDA SENT A NOTICE TO OWNERS OF A SAFETY RECALL REGARDING THE RUSTPROOF COATING ON THE LIFT GATE STAY DAMPERS. THE DEFECT COULD CAUSE CORROSION THAT MAY CAUSE THE LIFT GATE TO DROP SUDDENLY.
