I was maneuvering the car in my driveway and it seemed to accelerate suddenly. I drove off my driveway and impacted bushes and a low stone wall. I do not think I pushed the accelerator.

Pulling into a gated parking lot. Once the gate opened the car accelerated and would not brake. Crashed into three car causing damage to Lucid and their vehicles. Have sent car to the dealership but still have not heard back from them.

2023-04-21Electrical system23V110000 Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles. The electrically activated contact switches that transfer energy to the drive motors, may unexpectedly open, cutting off power to the electric motors.
Remedy: Lucid Service Centers will update the vehicle software and replace the contactor switches, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 21, 2023. Owners may contact Lucid customer service at 1-888-995-8243.
