I DROVE IN MY DRIVEWAY. SHIFTED TO PARK AND TURNED OFF THE IGNITION, POPPED THE TRUNK RELEASE. EXITED THE CAR AND SAW THE TRUNK LID WAS DOWN. GOT THE REMOTE OUT OF MY POCKET AND PRESSED IT TO OPEN TRUNK . TRUNK STILL DIDN'T OPEN.

SAFETY TIMELINE
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Lincoln MKT vehicles with a limousine or hearse preparation package, manufactured March 6, 2012, to March 10, 2015.
Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the vacuum pump relay with a new electro-mechanical relay, free of charge. The recall began on July 6, 2015. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
Campaign 15V172000 — check if this car was fixed
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2015 Lincoln MKT Town Car vehicles equipped with the livery package manufactured February 4, 2015, to June 23, 2015.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install second row seating if it is missing. The recall began on July 28, 2015. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 15C08.

Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel PEM part number and replace the fuel PEM, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on December 1, 2016. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.

Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear suspension toe links, free of charge. Remedy parts are not currently available. Owners were notified about the recall on March 3, 2020.
