At approximately 4,588 miles on my 2024 Lexus LX 600 (VIN: [XXX] , built May 2024), the orange brake system warning light (exclamation mark in a circle) illuminated on the dashboard while the vehicle was parked and running.

Lexus LX 600 2024 While driving the cars the main monitor screen which displays important information, a splash screen pops up asking for a 6 DIGIT PIN # and obscure the information beneath it. This totally takes you out of the GPS app.

SAFETY TIMELINE
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, Lexus LX600, and 2023-2024 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles.
Remedy: Dealers will update the transmission control ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 8, 2024. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24TA02 and 24LA02.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models.
Remedy: Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB13 and 25LB06.

Remedy: Dealers will perform an inspection on the #1 main bearing using vehicle inspection software and drive data, and if necessary, replace the engine. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
