I WAS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE AND STOPPED WITH THE BRAKE ON TO PROCEED FORWARD OUT OF THE LOT. I PUT THE CAR FROM REVERSE INTO DRIVE AND IT SIMPLY TOOK OFF AT AN EXTRAORDINARILY HIGH SPEED. I HAD NOT YET EVEN PUT MY FOOT ON THE ACCELERATOR.
