On 27 July 2025, my 2024 Range Rover Sport, suffered a sudden and catastrophic engine fire while driving shortly after an overheating warning appeared. This occurred approximately two weeks after routine maintenance at a Land Rover dealership.

2024-02-08Structure23V872000 Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2024 Land Rover Range Rover and Land Rover Range Rover Sport vehicles. The body panels may not be bonded properly, reducing the structural strength of the vehicle.
Remedy: Dealers will install two rivets and apply sealant, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 8, 2024. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N837.
