Leaking fuel tank. At weld that holds seat on. Same issue the 2003 with has been recalled. This is a safety issue. My bike can catch on fire. Other models on kawasaki valcan have been recalled also. This on needs to be recalled asap.

FUEL TANK BEGAN LEAKING AT REAR MOUNTING BRACKET PLATE, DRIPPING FUEL ONTO THE DRIVESHAFT AND EXHAUST HEADERS AND RUINING THE PAINT FOR THE CLUTCH SIDE SMALL COMPARTMENT UNDER DRIVER SEAT.

FUEL IS LEAKING FROM THE REAR OF THE GAS TANK IN THE AREA THAT THE MOUNTING TABS ARE BRAZED TO THE TANK. GASOLINE IS RUNNING DOWN OVER THE REAR ENGINE CYLINDER AND TRANSMISSION CASE. THE SAME AS RECALL ISSUED ON THE 2003 IN 2007 #07V216000.
