Vehicle propelled my wife through garage door and into garage. Automatically started moving on its own from a complete stop and would not respond to brakes. While slamming on brakes, vehicle propelled forward at full throttle while in EV mode.

2026-05-08Engine25V766000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles.
Remedy: Dealers will install a software update and replace the block or engine as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning May 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

Date not on fileElectrical system25V710000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles. A software error in an over-the-air (OTA) update may result in a loss of drive power.
Remedy: Dealers will update the telematics box module software, free or charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed November 20, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, until their vehicle is repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring and electric hydraulic power steering pump, as necessary, free of charge.
