TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JAYCO JAY FLIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE. UPON INSPECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED FLAMES COMING FROM THE ROOF OF THE CAMPER. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CONTACTED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES.

SAFETY TIMELINE
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Jay Feather, Jay Flight, Jay Flight SLX, Eagle, White Hawk, and Octane travel trailers manufactured January 5, 2016, to July 18, 2016, equipped with a Sway Command anti-sway system.
Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will remove the Sway Command system from the affected travel trailers, free of charge. The recall began on August 3, 2016. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
Campaign 16V560000 — check if this car was fixed
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers.
Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018.
